Sick build man could you chuck up a dyno sheet would love to see the torque curve of the Vtec
belive it or not id have to go through my emails to find the graphs n wat not. the power n torque didnt bother me. i wanted a reliable killer tune with no lag. and thats what i got. so the rest didnt bother me too much...

some megaknobs on speedhunters, such fanboys. would have loved to see that cops face when he opened the bonnet.
sure are some morrons on there. in the USA there dynos are about 100hp happier than ours.. so in the USA i would make 450hp too..

I might have missed it somewhere in first post.. but is there a particular reason why you didn't use the F20 from the S2000? love the build though! What an awesome idea to put a Honda motor into a Silvia! Sounds so good

$$$ was his answer. K20's been around for longer anyway, if you did want to rebuild there's more to choose from. From what I've read (years ago), there wasn't really much you could do with the F20C...

Fanboyism: always wanted to see something on this since I heard about it moons ago. I've yet to own one, but I have a robot chubby for honda motors.

as stated by wizard, the cost of buying a second hand f20c was nearly double. also the knowledge we have here in australia for the K20 is much greater, the parts are cheaper and easier to cum by..

as you guys asked for, power, torque and a boost graph...
as use can see the boost is a progressive boost curve. its like this due to boost creep. even with a 60mm gate, it cant hold up with the amount of air-flow the head produces. it creeps out to 8psi at 7000rpm... i initially didn't like this, but iv learn't that its actually in my benefit with the way my car is setup... i can part throttle and part boost. this car is not an on and off switch with the power, its progressive from take off... i use lots of throttle control to keep this car sideways... you can also see how early its makes 300NM and its pretty much a flat line all the way to red-line...
gotta drive it to understand it.. graphs and chit chat don't do this car justice... iv tried to explain what this car can do to many people that are blinded and narrow minded about whats the best engine.. i appreciate all well built cars and engines, but for this application i tried something different, and i would never turn back... its hard to share the experience i get when i drive this car... its unexplainable..

cheers guys..
new videos should be ready soon.. from Sunday Winton..

u nearly made the right decision... if i had the money s2k engine is a better stock engine, can make 300kw and 450NM on the stock conrods. but the K20 is limited in the conrods department. anything over 400nm is pushing the boundaries, thats the only reason why im only making 250kw and not 300KW+.

even with an ECU intake, exhaust, extractors, s2k's dnt make ne more power than stock.. there soo perfectly tuned, you cant get any more out of em... unless you go forced, or start pulling the engine apart

U wouldnt even make 150kw at the wheels NA wit a stock s2k engine. They dnt make power. N dnt be fooled. ITBs arnt the all that, like ppl make em out to be.
