Hi guys

 

I'm new to these forums.

The motor is currently being rebuilt with forged pistons and rods. With all the hollywood bolt ons and standard bottm end the car made 270 rwhp at 1 bar. Whwn I get the motor back I'll run 1.2 bar and hopefully make 320 rwhp. The motor could probly make alot more horsepower but I dont want to lean on it too much at this point. In a few months I'll wind the boost right up and spamk it on the dyno!

 

Just quickley the engine mods incude...

 

Garrett GT30R BB turbo

Tial external gate with screamer pipe

Custum top mount manifold

Microtec ECU

HKS head gasket

Ported and polished head

Step 2 HKS cams

HKS valve springs

OS Gilken adjustible cam gears

GTR intercooler

Apexi N1 exhaust

HKS air filter

Big fuel pump

Huge Sard injectors plus heaps more I cant think of!

nice car...how long hav u had it for ??? i getting this feeling i hav seen it before

 

by the way who's doin all the work on ya car (workshop) ??

 

theres a friend of mine on these forums with a very similar setup. i would luv to see how much power it pulls when the snail is wound right up :P

 

 

oh yeah u should pull more than 320rwhp @ 1.2bar on that turbo...i would of thought more likely 350rwhp

didnt this car just get rebuilt or turbo done by cypher not that long ago?? i said hi to you (blackish sil80) when you were picking the sucker up...

Yeah oxaxitd I remember you.

 

I took the car away and gave the car a bit of curry for a week then had problems with overheating. Upon removing the head we discovered that the cylinfer lining had come away from the block - not good. So full rebuild is happening as we speak. The guys at Cypher have been a great help with the car thus far. I was just unlucky with the standard bottom end.

 

Not to woory I was going for a full rebuild down the track anyway!

its crazy how all these "BIG POWER" machines are just being churned out of WA.

 

it seems that the west coast really knows how to spend dosh on their imports.

 

nice turbo/wastegate by the way..... i'm also liking the S14 attached to it!!! :P

I have seen your car at cypher, you might have seen the s13 in primer with gold rims, and ye i have seen the car at the work shop and the turbo is quite nice looking :P

Looks good. U should see plenty of top end once complete. At least 360rwhp with a conservative tune.

I'm predicting 320 rwhp with 18psi and a conservative tune on a "realistic dyno"

 

Anything more will be a bonus. An intercooler upgrade from the GTR job should give a few hp.
