max rwkw from s15 injectors?

hi all, max kw from s15 injectots?

My 180sx is running all the support mods to reach 200 rwkw just need a set of injectors, would s15 injectors get to 200rwkw?

or should i buy a set of 550cc injectors?

With the s15 inj might get there. Just go 740s or top feed For future support.

I was/am in the exact same position as you. 180sx and was looking at getting hold of some cheap s15 injectors to spin 200rwkw, but from all my research looking at dynos of sr20det with s15 injectors the most they seem to spin up is 170-180rwkw before maxing out. So I decided to just bite the bullet and buy some nismo 740cc.So I would get 550cc or 740cc personally. Ebay sells the yellow tip refurbished 550cc injectors for pretty cheap like $300. Maybe get those.

yeah i think i will have to, im nearly there once i get the injectors and get Nistune all thats left is tuning.

i think ill go with 740cc in case i need more power in the future.

i see ur from Vic, same as me, any track days that u know of? keen to go to a track day when the 180sx is up to scratch.....

Nah mate I'm based in Brissy for now (from Melb originally) but I may be coming back to Melbs in a year or so who knows! Im always happy to meet fellow S chasis enthusiasts :) Oh and I still have to get my handling fixed (that's next on the list). Car handles like chit right now, around corners with the stock suspension omg.....tyres screeching and sliding on only a mildly aggressive turn. Even my mirage handles better than that.

 

But yeah in regards to the injectors definitely bite the bullet on the 740cc imo they are good for about 270rwkw (pretty much as much as you want to run a stock SR imo) on e85 with a FPR. So its great if you plan on getting a bigger turbo in the future! Gives good head room.

Whatever you do, don't buy refurbished/redrilled junk. Genuine Nismo or top feed modern conversion if you could be bothered. Cheap eBay injectors is asking for trouble. My 2c.
