La Ferrari

Recommended Posts

So I'm sure a lot of you got a good look at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show! i know i couldn't wait for the reveal of this car. Forget the McLaren P1 and forget the Lamborghini Veneno (which i think are both outstanding feats of engineering) This new enzo has just won me over completely.

Figures:

6.3 v12 produces 789hp + 160hp from HY-KERS system :o revs to 9250RPM

0-100km/h in under 3 seconds

Roughly 900nm of torque (im assuming with KERS active)

230mph Top Speed (claimed)

499 to be produced

Carbon fiber/Kevlar chassis & monootub

Active Aerodynamics including hidden rear spoiler that acts as airbrake under braking and active under floor

Price is to be announced!

Here are some pictures & go to Ferrari's youtube channel to see every aspect of the car in great detail!

Tell us what you think!

Looks pretty freakin awesome to me, cant wait to see this thing in action, another addition to the 3 second club.

With only 499 made cant see it going for very cheap either

Front looks mad. Undecided about the rear yet???

I dont like the rims, they are too simple for a car like this.

Anyone else think the front is very Koeniggsegg like?

Only thing I don't like is the flattened steering wheel; everything else is great.

Kinda think it looks like a cross between a McLaren F1 and Corvette Z06, with a hint of Enzo.

Only in that it has headlights and a front bar. No other similarities exist IMO

I think it is necessary for the flat bottom wheel to optimize a bit of leg room! but these video's will give you a better explanation with seating position.

Personally i think the car looks like a mix between the Enzo and the 458 italia

Just did a little more reading up on the car and apparently the car is already under ownership. Fernando Alonso has already got the keys to this bad boy :) I'm not sure how true this is but his name is embossed onto the bottom of the steering wheel so that is a good piece of evidence.

Some video's going into further depth of La Ferrari's technology advancements.

Yes this is such a beautiful car compared the the Lambo Veneno or what ever.

On another note I wonder if in the near future someone can develop an aftermarket product that we can all buy KERS to put into our S chassis would be great. (god damn my english are terrible these days)

Looks amazing.

I feel like the vents are cannons are or something though. If I were to ever drive it (yeah right...) I would feel like the car is always about to shoot me lol
